I think the possibility of this trend may materialize when the generation of today’s 20-somethings become middle-upper management, so it could be many more years until the ‘stylish resume’ becomes suitable. Then again, as that generation grows older and more conservative in their tastes, “simple” may stay the standard. -SG

I agree to a point. Not all of us are graphic designers or even have an innate ability to determine what is the most visually appealing – you could argue that those who do/those that are exemplified here are making something even more than just a resume (some might call it art). So certainly what could be a majority of us will not create something comparable to this idea. However, moving resumes/CVs online and allowing them to be viewed/consumed across platforms/devices I think will take a deeper seed and become much more of a norm.
